Welcome

Well, you've found my small homepage. This is supposed to be my little contribution to the worlds largest library (the web). Be welcome and feel free to look around.

I'll try to keep fancy, resource expensive stuff out and give some information instead. And with a little luck you'll find something useful here...

Just to give you some directions here's a summary:

The Triumph Tiger (T709) is my motorcycle (and one of my more expensive hobbies) and so you will find a lot of (technical) information about that motorcycle here.

Icewind MUD (which means Multi User Dungeon) is one of my other rather time consuming hobbies. The pages contain not only information about Icewind itself but about the Mudlib and Driver we're using, too. Since I don't have much time for 'mudding' anylonger, here's just a link to Icewind's webpage.

C++ is one of the best programming languages around (at least this is my humble opinion :-). It's useful for programming of tools, numerical simulations, games, graphical user interfaces etc. Here you will find some info, explanations and code snippeds of some tricky C++ stuff I think it's worth finding out about.

KDE (the K Desktop Environment) is my favourite field of software development under Linux. Here you will find something about KDE and the Qt library.

The Computers are expensive toys, but after years of playing with them, you can actually make a living just by knowing how to whip them to work efficiently. Here I have a short review of my past computers (actually not that many).

I got a Bonsai tree as a wedding present. And even though I never really thought about having one, I find myself spending quite a bit of my spare time just to keep it happy. And it seems to become a pretty interesting hobby.

Feel free to look around and I would appreciate any feedback (and/or typo reports). Please direct all mails to the following address (you'll need to replace the spam protection: '.' and '@')
